Come play in the 2011 Parade Golf Tournament held at the Club at Savannah Harbor. This 18-hole, par 72, Troon-managed course was designed by Robert Cupp and Sam Snead and offers excitement for both novice and experienced players.
This course is the home of the PGA Tour’s Champions Tour Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf and is rated the #3 “course you can play” in the State of Georgia, according to Golf Week 2010.
To get an idea of what the course is like, check out their website at: http://theclubatsavannahharbor.com/index.php
The tournament will be a scramble format, with a shotgun start. There will be plenty of water to drink while playing as it might be a tad warm. After the tournament, we will have a lunch with your choice of fish and chips or chicken cob salad, with tea or coffee and NY cheesecake with fresh berry compote for dessert.
You will have a chance to win prizes for the longest drive and closest to the hole (men and women) as well as prizes for the “best team scores.”
Your entry fee will include the practice range, green fees, cart, divot tool and souvenir bag tag, and a golf shirt (men’s and women’s styles). It also includes lunch after the tournament on site, during which time the scores will be posted and prizes awarded.
Rental clubs are available from the club, if necessary. We hope to see everyone who participated last year in the event, as well as many new faces. At the time of registration, you may request to play with specific players, and that request will be honored, if possible.
